About

A bit more about Audrey

As a successful Dutch artist, I followed my heart and moved from The Netherlands to the UK in 2007.
Suffolk's landscapes are a lot like the ones I grow up in, gentle flowing landscape and a beautiful coastline. In 2012 West Yorkshire became home and I fell in love with the stunningly dramatic moors, dry stone walls and higgledy-piggledy roads instantly.

Spending a number of years holidaying in Somerset, with all of nature’s beauty combined and lovely friendly people, we decided to take the plunge and find our forever home in West Somerset.
We moved in 2020 to our dream home with fairytale garden and wildlife galore.
It has been difficult for a lot of people with the coronavirus lockdowns, for people’s financial and mental health. In these difficult times I find it good to look at the positives, inspirational people helping each other and a lot of people finding their way back to nature.
I’m still exploring and finding my feet in the community. In the meantime, you can find me, teaching art on zoom, creating in the studio, digging in the garden or splashing about in the sea.

There will be more about myself here soon.
